Cookies & browser storage
This site uses browser storage as well as cookies that may be supplied by its hosting infrastructure. These technologies are covered by the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR); UK GDPR also applies where personal data is processed.
Your choice
Optional reading-position storage is off until you accept it. “Reject optional” and “Accept optional” are equally available. You can change or withdraw your choice using Cookie settings in any page footer. Reading and downloading the free resources does not require optional storage or an email subscription.
Storage used by this site’s code
| Storage | Purpose | Duration / control |
|---|---|---|
| ace-privacy-choice-v1 (local storage) | Remembers your choice, its timestamp and notice version. Necessary to honour your privacy settings. | Choice expires after 180 days; renewed when you change it. You can clear it in your browser. |
| wix-visitor-* (session storage) | Visitor authentication for requested Wix features, including submitting forms. | Browser tab session; token validity is managed by Wix. Necessary for those features. |
| ace-reader-invitation (session storage) | Remembers that you dismissed or completed the optional invitation, so it is not repeatedly displayed. | Browser tab session. |
| dna-reader-core / dna-reader-en / dna-reader-pt (local storage) | Remembers your page in a book. | Optional. Only read or written after acceptance; removed when you reject optional storage. Otherwise remains until you clear browser storage. |
Providers and tracking
Wix provides hosting, visitor authentication and form processing. Images, audio, video and PDFs are delivered through Wix media services. These requests expose normal connection information, including your IP address, to the provider. Security and delivery technologies may be set by the hosting infrastructure. See Wix’s privacy information.
No advertising pixels or analytics tags have been added in the authored site code. The general Wix site-script loader has been disabled pending classification of any scripts it may insert. Accepting optional storage enables reading-position memory only; it does not enable advertising or analytics. Any future non-exempt tracking will require a separate, informed choice before activation.
